Given this vision, the Institute’s main goals are to: foster
innovation, advance competitive research
 and development, and
enhance management and leadership strategies in high entry barrier
fields, including Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Clinical Trials,
Public Health, Telemedicine, Food and Agriculture, Energy and
environment; promote entrepreneurship; develop and offer
educational and training programs to prepare the next generation
of biomedical, food, agricultural and environmental scientists and
leaders. In addition, the Institute plans to develop
software-driven tools that could augment health promotion, disease
prevention and treatment among the youth and general public for a
healthy living. The Institute believe that these mission-linked
activities contribute to the sustainable economic development and
well being of the Indian people. |
